Moore, OK – Tom Cole issued the following statement to formally announce that he will seek reelection to represent the Fourth District of Oklahoma in the U.S. House of Representatives
“Throughout the past fifteen months of a Republican-led Congress and White House, we have made remarkable progress in reversing the mistakes and far-Left policies of the Biden Administration. Now, under our leadership, the border is secure, inflation is down, and, due to the Working Families Tax Cuts Act, each and every American will keep more money in their own pockets. However, we still have more work to do – and this work demands strong, principled leadership that harnesses the resilience and abiding spirit of the American people. “In representing the Fourth District, I have proudly fought to protect and advance common-sense conservative policies while also ensuring that we are investing in the future of our country and great state. As a result, I earned the endorsement of President Donald J. Trump, who I am proud to work with as we fight to usher in this new golden age.
“In stark contrast, the Democrats have done everything in their power to resist thishistoric turnaround. The endless government shutdowns, which put our nation’s national security and economic prosperity at risk, make it clear that their goal is to fight against President Trump, instead of fighting for the prosperity of the American people. “On the contrary, over the past two years, Republicans have been working hard for the
American people. We delivered historic funding for President Trump to secure our borders and removed those who had broken the law and illegally entered our country. We passed legislation to unleash American energy and create jobs right here at home in Oklahoma. We secured the largest tax cut of all time of all time for working class Americans and delivered no tax on tips, overtime, and Social Security. American families
will reap the benefits of the new Trump Accounts, which will invest $1,000 in each new child’s future. I am proud to have successfully secured a pay raise for our military men and women, historic investments and expansion of services at the VA, and increased investments for our law enforcement who make our Oklahoma communities safer. And on top of all of this, we continue to increase missions and capabilities at Fort Sill and Tinker Air Force Base.
