Campaign Release

NORMAN, OK – Unyielding support for America's military veterans and a keen awareness of the issues that veterans face has earned Oklahoma Congressman Tom Cole the endorsement of VETERANS' VISION.
 
In a letter sent by Operations Director John Tong, Congressman Cole was congratulated for receiving the "endorsement of the nationwide VETERANS' VISION for your campaign, in our 15th year."  The letter continued by describing the Electoral Board as being "made up of an equal number of Democrats and Republicans, who made their decisions based on the past support for veterans and the campaign emphasis on veterans issues."
 
The official VETERANS' VISION newsletter endorsing Cole said, "Representative Cole believes that it is important to show our gratitude to our men and women in uniform. He has worked to: increase veterans' benefits, improve veterans' health care, and ensure disabled veterans and their families are cared for."
 
Congressman Cole responded to the endorsement with the following comments:
 
"I am humbled to receive the support and endorsement of VETERANS' VISION.  My father served in the Air Force and he raised me to believe that our veterans deserve the utmost respect and support from our country.  Since I have been in Congress, it has been my privilege to work with and on behalf of our veterans who have served our country so diligently."
 
"I am proud to work with groups like VETERANS' VISION to support our veterans and help provide them with the services and benefits they have earned.  So long as I am given the privilege to serve in Congress, I will work to ensure that our veterans and their families are given the benefits and opportunities they deserve."
